It can log up to 250 measurements taken with either actual distance, horizontal distance, height, angle and vertical separation (difference in height between two targets), and three-point measurement (height between two points).
Angular measurement range is ±89°. Measurements may be read using either the eyepiece or the side panel, which can display without or with any of three intensities of backlighting. Distance measurements can be made using either First Target or Distant Target mode depending on whether the tree is in front of or behind other trees.
The Forestry Pro II has a range of 8 to 1750 yards and can also measure in feet or meters. The 6x21 optics are waterproof and fogproof up to 3.3' for 10 minutes, but the battery compartment is only rainproof.
